Oz Info uses information only for research purposes. All information we collect is used to investigate the behaviour, needs, attitudes, opinion, motivations or other characteristics of a whole population or particular part of a population.

We do this in order to provide accurate and timely information to government, commercial and non-profit organizations about issues relevant to their activities, to support their decision-making processes. Participants’ input into these decisions is important and the more people that participate, the more the results truly reflect the spectrum of Australian society.

Most of the information our company holds is not connected with details that identify the participant. This is because researchers are not generally concerned with the identity of the respondent’s data and remove such details as soon as they are no longer needed.

However, while participant’s information remains identifiable, they have the right to request access to, or deletion of any information about them held by our company. Along with this, participants can also request to be informed on how long their name and contact details will be kept in order to contact them for future research purposes (with their consent).

Our company is bound by the National Privacy Principles, which govern the way private sector organizations collect, use, keep secure and disclose personal information. We also abide by the principles of the Market Research Society of Australia’s Code of Professional Behaviour and fieldwork takes place in accordance with the relevant IQCA procedures regarding training, survey administration, observation and validation.
